DfE - Leadership Equality and Diversity Fund for Schools

The Department for Education is accepting applications for its Leadership Equality and Diversity Fund.

Funding can be used to coordinate school-led equality and diversity projects in the schools region.

How does it work?

Funding is awarded to one lead school in each regional school commissioner regions. The lead schoos will then be responsible for allocating funding to individual school-led projects.

Lead schools need to have achieved outstanding or good for overall effectiveness in their most recent Ofsted inspection.

The school will need to be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to increasing the diversity of school leadership in their region and also have the capacity to do so.

How do I apply for funding?

There is an application form to complete, available online.

This application round closes on 9th February 2018 at midday .
