A recent study from Virgin Media, has shown that more than 8 million British employees now work from home at least one day a week, the equivalent to almost a third of the entire British populace. The report showed that those working from home bring in £167 billion to the UK economy every year.
The number of hours spent working from home is also on the rise, with a 26% increase compared to 2012. It is expected that this number will only rise, with 58% of workers expressing a desire to work from home.
