Recruitment continues as three more personnel set to join Soltech IT

Following on from last months appointments of Keith Nash, Angela Ellery, Jack Morley, Gareth Jones, Mark Tiley and Ahsan Butt, Soltech IT is delighted to announce the appointment of three new members of staff.

David Knight joins Soltech IT as a vastly experienced Senior IT Helpdesk Technician. David has previously held senior IT support roles at Babcock, Dr Martens, Airwair International and also has 10+ years experience working for Bristol University as a senior IT support supervisor. At Bristol University, David's technical team supported the IT needs of over 4,000 staff and students.

Nicky Salmon takes up the role of Senior IT Technician at Soltech IT on the 12th April 2023. Nicky's role will be wide ranging providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, whilst also being heavily involved in project work. Nicky has previously worked in senior 2nd and 3rd line roles with multi-national organisations including Multivac, Ford and Dyson.

Richard Smith will join Soltech IT on the 25th April 2023, taking up the role of Senior IT Technician and education specialist. Richard has vast knowledge of IT requirements, services and solutions within education. Richard previously held the position of Senior IT Systems Administrator at Transforming Futures Academy Trust for over six years, whilst he has also worked in IT roles at South Devon College and Stoke Damerel Community College.
